EDUCATION
Conflict resolution skills can be learned. Part of an effective mediator’s role is to empower the participants by modeling and coaching them on productive ways to listen, understand and respond to a person they are in conflict with. At Second Story Mediation our goal is to share these strategies as broadly as possible with the community – starting with youth.
We will be designing and delivering conflict resolution workshops for youth during the 2020/21 academic year and plan to expand to include adult conflict resolution training in the Spring of 2021.
